At Myddelton College we strongly believe in the power of adventure education in the development of young people, so much so we have embedded this into the student’s timetabled curriculum.
The Myddelton Adventure Camp has the overarching aim to develop each individual student’s sense of independence. This is understood as a willingness to seek challenge to aid their own learning, which leads to the creation of a strong sense of self-confidence.
We believe that immersion in natural settings, undertaking adventurous experiences aids young people’s ability to create and maintain strong social bonds. The importance of friendship is of huge value to us at Myddelton College.
We aim to deliver authentic, meaningful, challenging, and adventurous activities that are also fun!
